Hi, I want to ask, How i can create or submit related to my blog in Google webmaster tool. I do not able create blog sitemap. It shows an error.

 

What blogging software are you using? WordPress? Blogger? MovableType, TypePad or something else?

 

If you are using blogger then you can use your feed url as your sitemap in the format given below:
http://yourdomain.blogspot.com/atom.xml or rss.xml...This will be accepted in the google webmaster tools...

 

There is a sitemap plugin for wordpress.

 

If its Blogger, it provides you atom and RSS, you can use that. To submit it to Google or other search engines, the you can follow this post

There is a sitemap plugin for wordprerss and indeed for most other software or content management systems. Otherwse a manual sitemap is always an option if you do not have hundreds of pages. Google always recommend not to use auto ping back services so I would be a bit wary of using automatic sitemap submission to Google. Creating it is different matter altogether.

 

i would suggest you to use yourblogname/atom.xml?redirect=false as your sitemap as the Webmaster tools will show errors if u use feedburner redirection and use atom.xml instead of atom.xml?rediredect=false
