How is your blog security lately?

Do you use security plugins for extra protection?

What security applications do you use to secure your blog? ( plugins and scripts etc )

Currently i use securepress, however i haven't had the greatest feeling to upgrade to the pro version. Does anyone have the pro version?

    Thanks

This is my opinion (as i am using wordpress)
    1. Secure your pc first, to avoid uploading infected files to your web server. Here is top 10 free antivirus softwares that can protect your pc.
    2. Change admin login username, change wp prefix, and be careful with people who register to your site. Some are bots.
    3. Activate akismet plugin, use login lockdown plugin, install wp-security scan plugin.
    4. Protect your wp-admin folder.
I guess for more lists, you can do researches in Google, or this video tutorial might help.
