Blog Script To Manage News?

    Greetings all,

    I had to launch News section on the site but didn't find a good free news publishing script in PHP. So, I decided to use WordPress as it fits perfectly for this purpose.

    Do you think it's a good idea to use blog system for publishing news and position news as articles?

    Just want to know the community's opinion.

    wordpress is a perfect solution for blogging. will you integrate wordpress to a existing site or will you start a new web site with wordpress?
