Yeah, except John Chow didn't say it does work, John Cow did. Nice way to get traffic by use of a famous persons name and linking to it using a false title.
i have signed up and will come back here to see the response from google to see what they think of the blogrush program
John chow is paid to write, so i wouldnt trust him. The day he entered the paid review grey area he was out of my RSS reader list. Who wants to read paid reviews?
I think it was pretty bad forum for them to launch without a halfway complete portal but I do like the idea and reese has a good track record so Ill give them the benefit of the doubt.
Well, the links that had been displaying for the last few days (and did not change) are gone.. it looks like they're now rotating REAL links... Away we gooo!
What has google to do with this?, these are not static links and are just related blog news so the visitors get extra related information.
No.. it's the middle of Sunday night.. it's going to be a day or more before they respond.. and like Amit said, i'm confident that they aren't going to have a problem with this any more than they would have with RSS feeds showing on your site..
Unless those 5 or 6 links rotate every 5 minutes I don't see how it benefits a thousand bloggers. Seems like it only benefits those 5 or 6 bloggers that have links displayed.
Seems like its working! But I'm anxious to hear google's reply. Tearabite, message us as soon as you get it!
Blog Rush looked like a "pyramid traffic-scheme". The sites with loads of traffic (and most displays & referrals) will get most of the traffic, while small sites pretty much never appear anywhere. It's a good idea though (I like the way how they display ads), but I wouldn't expect much from it unless you have a big site. But that's how it goes usually in (Internet) life
This thread started off by suggesting to use BlogRush for your "site", and several other posters used the term as well. Can I use BlogRush for my regular sites or is it ONLY for blogs?
