Blog RSS Feed (Valid)

I was attempting to add my blog RSS feed to the digital point forum but it is not showing up.

    I know that it says
Which of course I do not have. We built our own and the RSS feed is valid - we verified it over at W3 FEED Validation Service.

Any way to possibly have mine show up? Thanks!!

The only way to make it work would be to mimic one of the supported feed format to be honest...

Doesn't really make sense to add support on this end for a one-off custom blog.

Thanks for looking into it. I am guessing that Wordpress etc is not valid or a different format?

I took a look at SEO Blog so I am guessing that it is just a few extra lines that are needed? Or do you know of any lines that Digital Point does not use / read on there?

Yeah... WordPress is fine. I'm not sure off the top of my head the specifics of any of the formats... I would just mimic one of the supported formats exactly.

Methinks we got it but it is still not showing up. Does it automatically show up once we "fix" it or do I need to keep re-submitting it to DP? Thanks!

Try readding the feed under the UserCP.

Sorry I went there and under options to the Blog XML Feed URL - is that the right place? The XML feed is in there but nothing under my avatar

Then the format of the RSS feed itself is wrong.

Thanks - back to the drawing board. I did not know if it would just automatically show up when it was correct for the DP forum :)

We have re-done it a few times - when I enter the new XML into the text box, how long does it take to be initiated? Is it immediate or is there a waiting period?

    Thanks!
