Blog Review Please

Hello there,

I released my blog a few weeks ago and now that I've added some content, I would like a review. I would like feedback on the template arangement and other details. Also, what do you think of the actual articles? I usually try to update it 4-5 times a day when free time permits.

I'd be a bit nervous about some of those pictures
adsense are not keen on ads on the same page as 'raunchy' pictures, dont know what they'd make of those!

 

I think it's fantastic. Have you thought about moving it to it's own domain? Definitely lots of potential to get alot of inbound links if you update regularly and get out and about on the net in the relevant forums/sites etc. I guess you have to be careful about how you phrase things though, you know what celebs are like for suing people!

 

I agree with the comments about the pictures, google will class them as pornographic and so should be removed if you wish to keep your adsense account.

 

Everything looks good except the "Google search box".

 

I also don't like the site in general, some of the comments are very critical. Celebrities are people too, everyone probably does the same kind of things at one time or other, they just don't have thousands of people perving over them while they do it.

Anyone seen the film paparazzi?

But if they were just plain, then no one would be interested in re-visiting the site. Sure, I try to make them un-bias most of the time but sometimes I just can't help it .

Today, while I was at college, I was thinking that maybe it would be better if I made the main column on the far right then have 2 other columns on the left but I think I'll leave it like this for now.
As for the pictures, I'll keep that in mind, even though you can only see the thumbnails on the page I have google ads on.

I'm also desperately trying to get backlinks, so hopefully I'll get more visitors.. at the moment it only gets approximately 20-30 a day (excluding today, because of this thread).

 

It's a nice site...although as mention, watch out with the naughty photos. Googel do take pronographic content very seriosuly.

 

I took them out. I thought I'd slightly change the theme of my blog and not just report the bad side of celebrities .

you could add a small horizontal ad section at the bottom, under the article.

 

You will also have to watch out as your an underage publisher, unless you had someone over 18 create the account as your profile here states that you are only 16

great blog. Do something about the adsense ads. Some of them are MFAs...I dint click n them but I can tell by their urls. Add those to ur competitive filters list. Especially one called "mylot.cc"

 

if i were you , i change 160*600 ads unit to the rigth side of the site

 

I like this blog, just work on your traffic now...
