    Hey guys, so for our new site we added a blog and a forum and my question is how often should I update my blog? and we don't have forum members yet so how often should I add posts to it? It's very niche market. Thanks!

    You could update your blog at least 3 times per week. If you are that busy, then you could do it only once a week (I am updating my blog atleast 3-1 times/time every week).

    Prior to your forum. It would be best to add posts as much as you can. You could do it everyday. Moreover, promote also your forum and invite others to post in it. :)

    Unfortunately there is No Magic Number to answer this question.
    But still when you have a regularly updated and engaging blog, you’re positioned for more website traffic and increased lead generation.
    From my point of view companies that blog 3 to 5 times a month, or around once a week, have more than twice the traffic of companies that don’t.
    It would a great idea to add posts as much as you can.

    There's no certain times you need to update a blog, you can update the blog once or twice in a week. Also for forums, populate the forums with useful posts and invite others to post on your forums too.

    I would prefer you update at least twice a week and always promote your blog and forum via blog commenting, FB groups, yahoo answers, and providing incentive on every blog post to your forum.

    The frequency of the posts depends on the niche of the site. If it's a celebrity blog, for example, daily posts are a must. If it's a tech blog, several times per week is good. But if the site doesn't deal with topics that change frequently, posting weekly is acceptable. Keep in mind that the more you post, the more content you're putting out there and thus the greater chance that someone's going to find your blog through those posts.
