Blog qestion

    I am new to blogs and would like to give it a go , here is the qestion is it best to buy a domain or would a sub domain work the same ?

    If you're new I would recommend starting on a freebie platform like Blogger or Livepress. Don't invest in your own hosting until you see if blogging is for you.

    Well i have hosting , was thinking of adding it to a sub domain on one of my sites , insted of getting a domain rite away just to test it out.

    If the content you are going to blog is about your site (domain.com),then a blog on a subfolder/subdomain is okay.

    If you ever plan to move to a domain then just start with the domain.
