I've done about 2 months of daily blog posts but have not done an ideal job of placing subheadings or links to my site with anchor words. Would it be better to 1) go back and edit the former posts the subheadings and links, or 2) repost the same posts with improvements, or 3) just to move forward and try to do a better job with the fresh content?
In an ideal world would go back and edit the existing content, but perhaps you've got too many posts.... Second best is option 3 - just move on. DON'T create the same posts again just with links ... this may be seen as duplicate content & is a complete waste of time.
Adam, thank you for the info. if there is a good source or checklist on key attributes or blog best practices (as there are probably areas I am ignorant to beyond the sub headings and links), please let me know. Thanks!
It used to be that keyword density played a role. Nowadays it doesn't. Write natural sounding content and build backlinks to the individual blog posts just like you would with any other content. For Example: If my blog post was about blue widgets Blog Post Title: Blue Widgets - Information - Reviews - Pictures Blog post body:
Blue Widgets Information, Reviews and Pictures
There are many uses for blue widgets in everyday life but here's a list of the top 10 most ingenious ones: LIST HERE These have many uses but the most common problem is having the incorrect size widget for the job, that's why it is essential that you do your research & find solid information before taking the plunge and buying the wrong one. We've compiled a list of the most common widget sizes as well as some pictures below. --- It doesn't sound spammy and yet still contains the keywords ... yes it sounds a bit strange because blue widgets don't exist ... but hopefully you get my point. PM me if you'd like more info.
So DoA in your example you still mention the keywords in the body of your post. So perhaps you meant that the keyword density just doesn't have to be very high?
