What is the difference between buying blog post and backlinks? Are backlinks more effective because they will stay and the same page while blog post will move to other pages after a while??
You can create backlinks on a blog post, your question is not that clear to be honest. If you mean the difference between homepage link and links in blog posts, it will depend the structure of the particular blog can't really tell without precise example.
Your query is bit confusing. From what i was able to understand,I would suggest a blog post along with your link inside the post is always much better than just a backlink.
A blog post doesn't really move to another page as such - at least not with Wordpress, Blogspot and most other popular blogging platforms. It just moves off the front page, but it always has a permalink too, and Google and company end up indexing that page fairly quickly anyway, as the permalinked page is seen as the "real" link to that page. As for the effect, I don't think there is any overall rule - if I understand you you are asking, is a link in a blog post worth more on a static page than a blog post page which will get moved off the first page of a blog fairly quickly? I think that really depends on the authority of the site and the quality of the page itself and is not a big deal either way. P.S. It's late at night here, I just re-read this post and if you can understand the gibberish I just wrote while half-asleep then you are more with it than me!
Depends on what you need, blog post and backlink has their own advantage. If you want authority, then get backlink. If you want exposure, get blogpost on a big blog.
If you are asking about the difference, in my opinion the main difference is the traffic. since the blog roll will be there in the front side of a webpage and the blog post will move to the back side so it may give you lesser traffic. but regarding back link i think there is not much difference.
Blog posts with a link back to your site are also backlinks...some webmasters recommend to get links in blogs because they have more value than other links such as links in directories or forum signatures
Keep in mind that most blogs now have no follow links. This means if you are leaving comments on blogs that link will not count as a "vote" for your site. The link will still work, and you can get traffic if people click on it but it will not increase your page rank.
Great post. I got one quick question, what if, my blog is hosted in one of my domain sub-folder, such as www.mysite.com/blog/, and I point to the inner pages of mysite.com. Would that be count as effective backlink? or it is better with free external hosted blog like the bloger or wordpress?
The best answer is to not buy blogposts or links. Most people selling links here will not faithfully keep their websites. 9 out of 10 are just going to sell their site or something similar. The same happens with blogposts. Most will just drop off the blog and you will receive zero traffic or rank juice for them. Manytimes they can be for a site with faked pr. Then if you really do find someone that will keep your link or blog post, Google will come along and devalue their website as any competitor can easily go and find all your links through Yahoo explorer and they WILL report anything that even looks the slightest bit spammy. Then the link becomes cevalued so you again don't get any value from it plus Google seeing that you participate in link buying schemes will devalue your website as a whole by lowering your trust value. This is far worse than a penalty because Google will not change this (per Matt Cutts blog and the Google discussion board). So, I don't know why anyone would ever buy a link anymore as it will most likely (99.99%) not be of any value as shown above, and it could even end up hurting you and your site and leave you worse off than before. Instead go and develop a worthwhile site and add quality, unique content to it. Another tip - abstain from article submissions as Google is clearing out duplicates and devalueing article submissions.
The best thing is to buy a blog post. Why? Because links from relevant content pages have more value and by buying blog posts you can try to get more and more similar content as on the page you are linking to which in turn will help you more then just buying a simple link.
Your question isn't clear to me! If you are saying that back links and links from a blog post is different then you are wrong. The two links are just as good as the other. Both has the same weight in the eyes of the search engines.
