Blog Post Deleting

    Hi ALL,

    I have a few WordPress blogs and wonder if deleting old posts will have any effect on my SEO and appearing on page one of Google, etc.?

    My experience, don't too much remove posts. You will get deindex your site at Google search engine.

    Yeah I agree based on my experience. I nearly deleted almost half of the post content on my blog. The result? Deindex.

    If the posts that you are planning to delete are duplicate or copy posts, go ahead and delete them - it will only do good. Else why do you want to delete already indexed links and reduce your traffic to those pages or increase your bounce rates?
