Who posts these and what are their meaning?. There is no domain, no e mail., no comment....nothing! I know its nothing but spam but if anyone can explain this, I would be really thankfull as it just dont make sense
That's weird. I suppose it's trying to advertise some link? I've been lately getting spam in the form of jokes, not bad ones either. I've got maybe 20 of them sitting in my spam folder. All completely normal, rather funny jokes (with random links here and there). What those spammers want is a mystery to me.
Yes I also think that he is marketing some web, poor spammer. I wonder why people want to earn by wrong means
They're just testing to see if comments are auto approved, me thinks. I mark them as spam and delete them.
I receive a lot of similar type of comments in my blog recently. The blog screwed up. I contacted my hosting provider and they fix it. They said spammers try to exploit security hole in my site because I open folder permission.
thanx foe the input ppl....if spammers are just testing, then why dont they add proper URLS instead of bogey fake URLS that dont exist. Also....how do they check for results and last but not least , what do they add " rel="nofollow" to the comment ??
These comment bots are simply testing the functionality of your blog, so no real url is necessary. If they get a favorable response then they'll sell it or use it themselves in one of their SEO link building packages...
so they post a fake comment and wait and see if it gets posted which means they monitor each comment they send toa blog. Who would go though so much effort ?
I get tons of them in my spam folder. See they are using different formats like HTML or BBC tags to find out if those get automatically converted to links in the comment
