I just registered a new domain:

    a1AffiliateMarketing.com

Please give me your honest opinion on what
    you think...

I plan on setting up a blog and submitting articles
to it on a reg basis..I know its not going to be
a money maker off the bat, as I am more concerned
in getting traffic, then maybe later putting up some
affiliate marketing links, product reviews, etc...

any affiliate marketing pros out there that
    have some good advice?

    Thank-You

Your domain is too long and it sound not nice.
The next step you should be taken is chose which niche you want on.
Such as what product you want to affiliate with.
Must be on one niche only.

It's a very good domain, and although long, has the potential to rank well on search engines (the domain name factor). Become an advisor for affiliate marketers. Offer free tips, freebies and stuff to help affiliate marketers initially. Run your own affiliate marketing campaigns elsewhere. Tell the world how much you're making by using your ideas and inspire them. Create an info. product - give every subscriber on your site/list a free sneak peek to it. Sell complete access to paid members.

Keep the site going on, build a brand over time and the next thing you know - you'll be raking in thousands every month.

change that wordpress theme. potential clients will presumably know about Wordpress as they've most likely studied up on Affiliate Marketing some and you don't want the default theme up.

    The domain name is fine.
The "A1" is very brandable and cool.
Would suggest having a logo and header created, as I agree with swaggerer - the standard WP theme needs to be replaced.

    Best of luck

New theme, domain is good for serach engines like everyone says, wouldn't say its tool long as its also easy to remember.
Offer tips and ideas for people would be the best, but would be hard to keep regular updates
