    pinging your blog will help you more appear in google that's the advantage you take. but i think that if much pinging in just one day would get your blog banned from those pinging directory.

    When u wright new article and if your blog is new then use ping it show in result very fast but not stable. It position will degrade when new and similar tile article comes.
