I really want to have a blog with atleast PR4, any niche would be fine. Can any one show me the easiest way to get high PR in short amount of time for a new blog. Also I don't mind doing hard work. Thanks!
it will take atleast 2 to 3 or maybe 6 months to build a pr 4 .But for a quick time start leaving comments on blog with url & directory submission .Also Note you will only see the result when google update the pr .
Buying links isn't a very clever idea. PR4 isn't that hard to get. What you need is some quality backlinks from the same niche websites/blogs. You can also do PR Submission, Article Submission, Directory Submission, link exchange etc.
Easiest? Buy a PR4 domain and point a single link from it to your blog. (There's no shameless self-promotion involved in this post, as you can see by my signature.)
Link building is the fastest way to get high PR soon .... Do a hard work and leave the rest on Google....

My Advice is - Please go for Free Links & Update the blog with Fresh quality content. 1. Add image with alt tag. 2. Add the tags in the each post. Go For high PR follow links. It will give benefit for your blog a lot. PR depends upon the Traffic, Quality Content & Quality Backlinks & Nil Coding Errors.
Buying links is not guaranteed to get a high PageRank.. But build links with your own way is the best way.. There are many blogs do follow that have a high PageRank, you can enter your URL and a comment over there..
Well Google hates these buy links because they disturb there method of indexing websites ..... As Matt says that if Google found any kind of link which is buying from other websites or directory then it may be happens that Google put that website in their Black List <<< so be carefull
