Its rare that I update now. I just wasn't seeing enough return for the effort of writing multiple times a day, may have been my fault for bad ad placement but hey.

 

Yeah is hard to keep up to date my blogs. However, I used to keep my readings up-to-date

 

Nope. I receive income from them so I just keep posting. It all ads up in the end.

 

No, because i write on topics that interest me, so i am learning at the same time.

 

my blogs are based on interest so my blog is up to date.

 

I have an indie music blog that I'm terrible about updating. I've been using blogger, and it's just too hard to keep things organized (most of the traffic is to band publicity and music business articles I post). So I'm switching over to Wordpress so I can categorize things, and then I'll go back to my articles. I'll probably hire someone to do mini cd reviews each week to keep things fresh, and then add some artist profiles that essentially write themselves. I don't have a hard time staying interested in it, but the fact that it's too hard to find what I need there just really turned me off of it for a while.

I love updating my blog, its not always easy and of course some days you can have lots of ideas for a post and on others it can be a little more difficult.

I have an interest in the topic and updating my own blog actually keeps me up to date on the particular subject as its forcing me to source the information, and i dont even make any money from it either.

I know its said a million times but it definately helps if your interested in what your writing about.

Dont give up, even if no one is reading your blog at first, they will do once you have a nice collection of posts and some history.

 

I am a publisher because I like it, not to rake in the big bucks. Sometimes I feel that I am the absolute exception here on DP. Because I like it, I also keep it up to date. However I do not stick to a regular schedule. I write whenever something comes up.
I guess a lot of people are in it just for the money and often times you can tell by their posts.

 

i get rvery few traffic to my blogs, and update on a biweekly basis

 

Bingo. I could care less if my blog was #1. I learn stuff about technology and gadgets. The ads to me are free money but it's not why I blog.

I do (and I feel everyone) goes through times where you really don't want to update your blog, but then there are days where it's like "this gadget is so cool. I want people to know about it."

I think if you blog for the money, your blog will die. If you blog out of interest it has a higher chance of survival.

 

I used to update my blog everyday but now, it is more like once a week.

 

I update 5 times a week but it's difficult. Some days I have to force myself to post something and it shows in the quality. hehe

 

I love updating my blog when I have something good to talk about...I hate forcing myself to just update the blog..(not gonna work for me.) I guess my blog is updated every other day...not that bad.

 

Well , in terms of updating is based on my spare time . Its actually hard to give information of what i do , what im searching about reading articles giving my own reviews etc,

But actually i do this for my self not for traffic , or gaining money from my own blog. "Started with blogspot" "Carry on with blogspot".

Writing improves my brain on veiwing things better giving anlaysis of what i come to "Clients search , My own Search , Technology Search , Marketing ... bla bla bla " Goes on like this .

Yeah but some time i get boered on writing more then xxxx words..
