Let's say I want to write a guide and that I want to add an article/page regularly, 30 or so pages/articles/paragraphs whatever you may call them, 1 or so a day, that's a month or so in total.

Do you guys think that a blog would be a nice way to contain it?

I suppose there are many bloggers in here, that support blogs for many uses, so please be unbiased in that sense!:D

    Thank you for your opinions!:)

Are the articles time sensitive (they age and go out of date) - if yes then a blog may be appropriate.

If the articles are more context sensitive then you may be better getting a Content Management System (CMS) like Mambo which gives you a different set of features but is equally easy to use.

You can trial mambo at www.opensourcecmx.com

If you decide to blog get something like wordpress and host it on your domain.

I'd agree with sarahk - blogs are great for time-sensitive information.

Blogs can work well for guides - the Co-op ad network guide is written using a blog for example.

    Thank you Sarah.

You are basically saying that a CMS such as Mambo would be better, as the articles would be there to stay and not go out of date.

    Thanks again:)
