I presently have a website which I created to advertise the product that I'm selling (an Ebook). I'm just starting to enter the world of weblogs. The next time that I want to promote a product on line, I'm wondering whether to try using a blog instead of a tradtional website. The same question about websites vs. blogs applies to affiliate marketing (which I haven't tried yet). I'd very much appreciate getting some input on this matter.
Both the same as far as selling goes it's how you promote your website. You can SEO a static website better than a blog because you have more control over it. That's my opinion anyway.
Blog is good for affiliate marketing if you adding new products all the time. If your selling ebook why not list it on some of the sites that sell them like pay dot com they even manage sales and affiliate program for you.
Thanks,rjc662. I will definitely consider paydot. I initially marketed my ebook through Clickbank, but didn't have any results as it seems the affililates weren't really promoting my product. However, speaking of Clickbank, I also signed up with CbProads.com, which brought me a lot of traffic, but unfortunately no conversions. The same with blogads.com. The bottom line is that I think that I need more aggressive affiliate marketing, and from what I've seen, paydot may just what I'm looking for. Thanks again.
