Here's my quick question: Should you post articles to your blog, THEN submit them to article directories, or should you submit to article directores and THEN submit to your blog, website, etc.? Normally, I post to my top article directories, then I place those articles on my relative blogs, websites, etc. Just wondering if I should do the complete opposite?
No point in submitting to directories if you've got nothing to give them once they hit your site. Work on your blog first.
To make sure the SE match the content to my blog, I will post it there first. I will only post to article directories only after my blog post is well established, or otherwise do some modifications before otherwise this would be assimilated to duplicate content.
I don't point any links to my blog. I point to other things, such as a relevant website or a squidoo lens. I use my blog for SEO purposes only. It would be pointless to write articles and not use any links.
Save your best and most quality for your website. Any substandard should go in Ezine - make sure it's quality enough at least to be approved however. If you feel that your site is being updated enough with fresh content, you can consider submitting your best articles to Ezine. That way, they may actually potentially gain coverage and popularity.
