Blog or CMS for the design layout i'm trying to create

    Basically i want the format to be of a blog, with articles and such but with the layout shown in the attached image. Appreciate any feedback :)

    ExpressionEngine is pretty flexible but it does require some amount of CSS and HTML expertise (more so than Wordpress). Here are some examples from their site:
