If I want to make a site about a certain topic, with some articles and not update it too much, and monetize it just with Adsense. Would it be better to make a blog or an article website?? Share your opinions and experiences, please.
If you are looking to make money with adsense it depends but you must keep it updated on a daily basis. Just remember whats good today may not be good tommorow.
The advantage of a website is the ability to place ads in any position while it costs some $$ to register and host; whereas the blog is free of domain registration and hosting charges but you have limited choice to place ads and they require frequent updating of the contents to be in good books of search engines
Use blog software (wordpress) but make it look like an article site. That is what I do for 3 of my websites. Works quite well because it's easy to update (and other people can log-in and add to the site) and also because of the SEO plugins available for wordpress.
Depends upon what you're doing. If you have a site about a topic, then a website (created from scratch, not with some article poster or whatever) is going to work out a lot better. It looks like most people in here are doing "blogs" rather than creating a site about "something"

Exactly, like all things, it depends upon your situation. Part of the problem is these different terms that keep popping up for things. ie, what are the distinguishing characteristics that make a Blog different from a "website"
If you don't update it often, it doesn't matter whether it should be a blog or website because it won't make money in the end. Just my view....
Whatever you decide use blog software to do it. You can make an article site with blogging software, it's pretty easy to do and it makes running the site that much easier.
i have both of them... http://article-directory.us and blogs in my sig.. there is some differnece in directory, there is a huge traffic of only submitters, they are here just to submitting and gone... over 500 UV, there is no clicks... ahhh having over 11000 articles, there is no actual visitor from se... well managed directory of articles, but its depend on time for a article directory, to get se visitors and clicks and same for blogs.all needs promotions or wait for God mercy
