    G'day all,

My name is Dan and I'm new here. Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this in advance!

I have a website under development at the moment and I wish to have a Wordpress blog also, mainly to post my thoughts on the industry I work in, and link posts back to sporting events that I sell packages for.

Should I have the blog hosted in a subdomain on my website, or should I host it on a seperate domain (which I have registered) if keeping content fresh and new is also a major goal also (I believe Googles new algorithm places more weighting on content freshness).

    Cheers,

    Dan

    I agree with MelfromBoD....

Google loves fresh content, but if you have your blog on a separate domain or subdomain, Google will consider this as a separate site and will not help your main site as much as using a subdirectory.

And also it saves alot of your time. OR we can just use wordpress for your site content also, wordpress can be designed as you wish. You can have everything under one control i.e just with one login, you can control both site and wordpress.
    *Wordpress saves time and energy*
