Blog Looks Good in FireFox But Not in Internet Explorer - Need Help!

    My blog which is an entry to the Isulong SEOph keyword ranking contest in the Philippines has a problem when I view it in internet explorer. It has bigger fonts, the content are all at the bottom of the page, and some text appears in the sidebar which should not be there. I need some help on how I can edit it, im using Wordpress. Will it also affect my site rankings? Previously I ranked 9, then 10, 11, 14 and now 27 in Google. :mad:

    I'm guessing placement of the <div> tags. However, I'd suggest that you try to find another theme and then build on that. =| Don't edit the layout too much, but change the other main features - images, colours, styles, etc.

    Well, if I have changed my theme, I really have to sacrifice the links Isn't it? And I have to 'overhaul' the entire blog? :( Will tha affect my rannking in the contest?

    i think by browser optimizing your blog you could solve this problem ,in many softwares like new version of frontpage options are there for optimization

    For what keyword(s) are you getting those rankings? Of course, all websites will rank differently depending on what keyword (or phrase) is being searched for.

    The middle column needs a forced width. It appears that it is too wide, and floating below the left column (probably has a div float:left, as does the left column). I would advise using forcing the width in pixels of all columns.
