Blog Links -- are they equal to regular backlinks?

Are posting links on dofollow blogs equal to regular backlinks on a webpage --- or does Google count blog links much less, or not at all?

 

yes, links from dofollow blogs is equal as regular backlinks & they help you to make better position in search engines.

 

I guess it all depends on relevancy. A relevant backlink from blog comment can be more powerful than a regular link from other site.

 

Link from the sidebar of the blog or from the content of the blog post, which one is better?

 

I think content and comments links are better . And they can provide you traffic also but sidebar links helps to boost pr only no one visits link in sidebar of others blog .

In general a blogroll has more seo value that a sig link. Signature links are more valuable for the traffic that they can generate. In any case it's good to have a link profile that includes all kinds of links.

 

If you mean mean commenting on dofollow blog, I guess its OK and may be equivalent to regular links.

 

In my opinion, in-content links are better than links coming from the sidebar.

i think relevancy is more important than dofollow, if they are not relevant they won't effect the ranking.
