Blog link vs. Website link?

I think the blog and website who has more value depends on itself, not just the style.

 

I think it depend on the PR....
you will get high benefit if you linked to high PR

 

I have to stand again that website platform has nothing to do with link weight. Only main domain trust and authoritative status can do.

Links from Blog do not carried more weight compared to websites as always. It is solely depend on its quality. If those Blog is a garbage one, just scrape other people contents, then the link from that Blog is nothing but zero value.

 

well....sometimes it happens. I had a same problem. when i launched my first site. My sites page rank is 0 and my personal blogspot's blog page rank is 2. so i can say blog's link is more beneficial than website link.

 

A blog is just a type of website, so it doesn't make any difference whether the link comes from a "blog" or a website that is not a blog. Other factors come into play for link weight.

 

No difference between blog / site, depending on the unique content.

 

Both are same with as long as the content is good and continually updated.

 

I think that they have the same weight in traffic generated especially when it is related and relevant to your website.

 

if they are coming from same theme and same pr then doesnt matter both are equal

 

Blogs are loved by search engines, but blog or site, if it is an authority site (i.e. it is liked in its niche) then it will carry more weight

 

I prefer when people link to me from within blogs or on the blogroll links or within a website. I get quite a few referalls from blogroll links especially.

Blog *comments* and website *comments* on the other hand ... I don't get those so I can't say anything about them. I wonder if google puts less weight on these?

one difference is blog updated time to time and cached, value is same..

 

According to me,Website link is more useful and important than Blog Link.

 

Both are useful if the link is dofollow.

Blogs are funny i don't thin relevancy matters as much as PR or authority. with website revelntcy matter more. I cant prove it but this is my insticnt

Links are weighted by relevance, trust (non-spammyness) and authority (popularity). Two sites that are exactly equal in relevance will not share a ranking position, the one with stronger trust and/or authority will take the higher position.
