    Hello
I was after a few steps and tips on how to apply successful link backs from blogs.

If the blog is do follow, am i right in thinking that you right a decent and interesting response to the post in order to achieve recognition from people wandering that site, then your name holds the URL for my site.

Does the post reply have to be about their blog, my blog, does it have to be long or does it have to be rich in content.

Can someone please give me some direction, plus is there a limit on how many a day before google begins staking you out.

Many thanks team DP, checking out

    James

Yes you're right, but the comment has to be related to the post you're commenting on, not to the blog itself and certainly not to your own blog/site. The comment should be on point and if you can redirect the topic to one of your site/blog make sure it is highly relevant to the article/blog post topic.

Your reply needs to contribute to the discussion started in the blogpost. You need to read the blogpost, then reply, asking the author a though provoking question, or pointing out somthing that the author might have missed in the article. I recommend at least 3 or 4 sentences.

If you drop a link in it, make sure it is very subtle. Most blogs nowdays will give you a link to your name. since your name will be the anchor text, I like to name myself something related to my site. for example, if my site is about SEO, then perhaps my name will be 'SEOGURU'.

Make sure your reply is 100% unique also. The important thing is to be genuine, and to distinguish yourself from the multitudes of spam that all bloggers fight on a regular basis.

And always find the newest post related to your topic which will help. You can search your keyword on google news or google blog.

Actually, I disagree with this a bit. I would search for articles that are already indexed in google, and if possible, already have PR assigned to them.

Newer blogposts might generate a bit more traffic short term, but acquiring a permanent backlink with PR on a very related blogpost, and the SEO benifits that provides is much more valuable long term.

    Hi James,

Dofollow backlinks counts in google. And, if you can get anchored keyword dofollow backlink from comment section (Use name as keyword), then it will also help to increase your SERP ranking in google. So, commenting on dofollow blogs is always helpful.

There are no limit of how many comments you can make a day. Just don't do it on any automated softwares. Spamming or link farming could get you penalty. I used to make 200 comments a day long time ago and don't get any penalty. It all depends on your speed. However, I suggest you to do it moderately and most important consistently.

Thank you very much, 200 a day, that's sweet although i imagine your social life suffered somewhat.

I have a bit of time each day outside my day job, around 2 hours, so i want to make sure i keep things going, i know it will take time to find the links but i suppose one day they'll start showing up.

    Thanks
