blog instead of website

    hi guys,

    I was checking the ranking for one of my projects...n while checking i notice that blog is ranking instead of website..

    blog of the same website is coming for some keywords...i just want to know that why its happening. Because the sitemap includes the tags also...
    Do i need to delete the tag url from sitemap....

    is there any harm for my project that website is not there in listing but the blog is...

    no it is good to maintain pagerank of your domain since blogs are indexed and crawled daily

    If you are having a good rank for blog it is good thing. Try to convert blog traffic to sales. Generally blogs get attention of search engines than sites.

    i also have the same experience.I spend 10000 bucks for a website for which i m getting only 50 visitors per day.While at teh same time i started a blog and its getting 2000 organic visits per day

    Blogs are better and are regularly crawled and indexed by Google
