    Dear All,

I am finding it difficult to post my blogs with the intended formatting. I normally type my blog content in word document with the required formats (font style, hyperlinks, images, etc), but when I copy the content in blogger, i am not getting the proper formatting.

Can anybody guide me on how to achieve this?

Word has nothing to do with HTML, the sooner you stop using it, the better :)
Type directly into your blog post form, either by using the visual editor, or by typing code into the html editor.

If I draw a picture of a sandwich on a napkin, then eat the napkin, then I haven't really eaten a sandwich have I? :p

see dont use word for first making the blog post, first write post in blogger and then copy it to the word if you want to keep backup of it. i suggest you to use Updated Editor in Blogger - which gives you more power then old editor.Best luk

It would be helpful if you gave a link to the site in question so we could see what you;re doing.

    Hi All,

Thanks for the reply. My situation is that I can not sit and type in my blog post, so I type it in a word document (with some minimal formatting) and paste it when I am accessing my blog site.

    Hi,

Please follow this URL http://www.robynweareartist.com/2009/10/113-useful-windows-run-commands.html, I included a HTML table, but I was getting some blank space between the Title and the table. Any suggestion to avoid this unwanted space?

Okay, if you're hellbent on posting from Word, make sure your formatting really is minimal, save your word document as HTML, open it is a text editor where you can see the formatting (like notepad), grab the parts you need (whatever is inside the body tags) and paste it into Blogger, using the "Edit Html" option (old editor, I'm not familiar with the new one).

Or, you can just type your post in Word without any formatting, and add all the formatting and links directly in the blogger interface. Not ideal, but it shouldn't be too much work.
