My blog is averaging 200 unique visits per day

    500 page loads

I would advise for you to use StatCounter, its a good beginner statistic helper :)

just random stuff, its my daily life posts with pictures, and honestly, I have a good google rank for many keywords......I have a few #1's on google and msn, but one that got me some help with that was my Girls Gone Wild post from when i was in Canada and the GGW crew was there so I had pictures and stuff, at one point I was top 10 for google search "girls gone wild" putting key words in your blog titles really helps too

Why use StatCounter instead of using the statistics program that comes with most web hosting plans? such as Awstats.

I don't get many hits to my blog. Anyone kind enough to visit my blog and give a few comments? :D Thanks ya.

There is a big difference between hits and visitors. You should be asking about visitors.

I think browsers' requests for images also counted as hits. For example if you have 2 images on a webpage, one time view of the webpage probably will be counted as 3 hits? (1 hit for the webpage itself and 2 hits for the images)

    Right or wrong?
