Could you please review my blog and help me understand why I have only a few repeat visitors, if any? It seems like I only get people to visit my site when I go their site and comment.

If it is a design issue, let me know what I need to change as I am undergoing a re-design. I am going to make the site wider, along with a better header section, and maybe changing the fonts.

    Thanks

well your selling ads and you only have a t'rati of 200k.. you might want to hold off on selling ads. until you get more traffic.. just build up good content..

I agree about holding off on the ads. Work on the content and backlinks and the traffic and ads will come. Also being a new blog, I would remove the number of posts next to the categories until you have significantly more content. Its like having an archives section with only 1 month archived.

buddy ..... what i would suggest is ...to keep your visitors return .. you must update your blog very often and never post low quality stuff..... always go for unique and interest generating stuff.

Also submit your site to good directories and try getting back links from high PR websites.

    Rest all is fine :)

    Keep it up.

You have the basis for a good solid blog, just keep adding fresh, interesting content. Eventually it will pay off. Don't try to hard to sell your ads either - it's kind of off-putting to go to a blog and the first thing you see is the owner trying to sell you something.

Change the black backgrounds in the menu to the brownish orange-ish thing you got going with your design.

Thats all from the design part - what to do after that, is just concentrate of your articals, post daily and just keep marketing your site and you'll get to the top soon enough.

Site was down for me (at the time of posting).

I can't see the site, but I would say that design isn't really an issue with a blog - as long as it is appealing to the eye - people come to see what you've written not how it looks - unless you are going to have a template a day!

People say "content is king", I disagree - you can fill your site with the same stuff other people are writing or you can come up with something unique. So "Great content is king".

Commenting for comments basically means that you get someone type "nice blog" or "I agree" most of the time. Go find a blog that reflects/mirrors your own - something with maybe the same niche (stuff) as you have - send them an email, tell them you like their site and ask them if they want to trade stories/content/comments.

Do that with a few people in your niche and you get nice content without having to write it all yourself!

    Onward and upwards

The site looks nice, but everything about the site leads the reader to believe that you create your site for the sole purpose of making money and throwing ads in their face. This kind of stuff should be a little more discrete, I mean the site looks cool, I would just steer toward more entertaining content, its already been said above that you talk about advertising too much, I have to agree. In retrospect, I have to save I like the layout and the domain name. Good Luck.
