    Hi guys,

I saw that there is an option in the User CP to enter a blog feed URL so the last post of your blog is shown next to your user name on your posts.
That's fine but when I put the feed URL the result is that the link which is shown next to my user name on the posts is the same one that I've entered in the control panel. This means it is something like http://[blog url]/feeds/posts/default
And I see that the blogs of the other users are shown in the form of http://[blog url]/ only.
Any ideas how I can achieve the latter?

you mean when you click the feed link,
for someusers it leads to domain.com and for some domain.com/feeds/feeddir
    correct?

it depends on what bloggin script and site you use

    Yes, thanks!
I had such suspicion. The bad thing is that when it points to the feed, a click on it does not open the blog rather than some file for download instead...

Wordpress will link to homepage only. Blogspot links inside the feed.

So practically it's not possible to use the blogspot one for direct clicking and viewing of the blog.

I'ved read it before in the post made earlier days by Shawn that only real blog feeds can be input in your profile.. joomla isnt built for blog but rather a cms so it is not supported.

I spent a few time last night analyzing those blog links.[IMG]

If you have a fully qualified TLD you can simply add the address of your blog, if you have your blog under blogspot the link to be used is a little bit tricky and can be displayed this way:
Sorry about the space after http but I cannot post live links as of yet.
