Hi. I would suggest picking a different color for your headlines and introducing one more color to your theme/palette - a green similar to your logo or darker maybe. Probably an orange?.... As for the adsense ads, in my opinion would be more noticeable on the left rather as most surfers read from left to right. Secondly, the adsense ads should match your color palette. Typeface (Arial) for the directory content looks too generic. I suggest to choose a serif font i.e. Georgia to distinguish this content area from the others. All the best!
