    do you think its too bland and needs some pep work. if so what kind of stuff must i do?

    Just looks like any other blog using a common template. A unique template or a customized template would look less bland and common.

    Looks like just another blog with a default template as live-cms said above.
    There are plenty of good FREE Blogger template sources... here are a few of those:

    I would suggest getting a custom design, put more content on the site (as in text), and make it original. Try to think of a unique idea for your site and bring it to life. It's the only way to make a successful website these days.
