Hello, I just noticed that one of my recently purchased blog got de-indexed by Google. It doesn't rank for itself when the URL is keyed in the search box! It's a PR3 blog with a few quality back links...one year old! When I bought the blog last week, I transferred it to a new server (my hosting account). Could this be the reason? I didn't do any promotion whatsoever since I bought it and the site WAS ranking for its name even two days ago... Please share what you think, Thanks p.s.: the name servers have been changed during site transfer...
That doesn't mean it's not indexed just because it doesn't rank for it's own domain name... The same thing sometimes happens when a URL or domain is penalized. I'm NOT saying you're penalized. In the Google search box, search for "site:yourdomain.com" without the double quotes replacing "yourdomain" with the domain of the blog. It will show you all pages on that site in their index. You can a listing of all pages indexed within a particular folder as well. For example, if you have a traditional website that has a blog in a subfolder (/blog/...) then you can search for "site:yourdomain.com/blog" to get the blog pages which are indexed. If you'd supply your URL we would be better able to assist you.
The blog is back on google search...I believe it happened when it was down during server change and Google crawled it last time... Thanks Please close this thread!~
