ost blogs I read have a short article and then a place for comments. I have a website and have several blogs that are mostly to get traffic and there is some monetization. It is my understanding that the reason webmasters use blogs to get traffic for there site is because blogs are updated a lot more than websites usually so I have been posting shore articles on my blogs with links back to my site and other blogs. I know some people say you can learn to write but I have tried and while I think someone with the gift of writing can learn more I think you have to be a witter naturally,. I can only afford to post one article posting a week so I want to know if when I post an article on my blogs whether it is new or not if it is a good idea to post part of it and link back to my page with all of the article on it. If this is a good thing then it would allow me to post more articles with less expense getting my witter to do it.
Google constantly says that quality content is what matters. Up to you if you believe them or not I guess. A good article might attract natural backlinks over time. As the above poster said, do both if possible, that way your own posts can point at what you think is important. (I am just sore at the moment as some retard "scraper" is pirating my content... *sigh* Sorry if I sound fed up.)
