It seems to me that most peeps on here are here for promoting their own blog and revenue through adsense. There seems little talk of commercial brochure sites or e-commerce, or those that are offering SEO for others. So, i thought it'd be interesting to find out a bit more..
There should have been a fourth option combination of option b and c. I promote my own commercial sites and for clients, mainly brochure site or commercial e-commerce.
okay, just to clarify.. this comes down to three reasons why you are here on this forum... hence three options. are you a blogger promoting your site are you a siteowner wishing to boost your rankings and ROI. are you a professional (ie paid) SEO for other people. If you design sites for others, then promote them afterwards as an additional service, thats 'c'.
I have my own forum and I don't use any PPC strategies. Pretty much 100% of traffic is returning members, Google and social network sites. All traffic is free and targetted traffic
yeah forums are like that.. self promoting once you get a few regular members. A lot of work though if you're an active admin, as opposed to just a adsense promoter starting a forum willy nilly.
