    Hi,
Do blog comments (with links to my site) without nofollow have any effect on my website (SERP)?
    Thanks :)

notwithstanding the nowfollow atribute? i mean... i tought that was the idea... to tell the bot "hey... dont follow this link... isnt relevant"

but now im wondering if what svajdlenka said is that the bot crawls the link and keep the related linking improving the linkpopularity in a conceptual manner without having your page rank increased by this link...

    is that true?

When you say nofollow disabled are you referring to the "dofollow" movement.

I also understood that nofollow is disabled without nofollow

google can easyly understand blog comment links.

and google mostly consider blog comments as blog spam and google may consider you a spammer

If you do not include any links within the body of your comment, then it should not be regarded as spam. Is this a correct assumption?

Considered by whom? Google? The owner of the blog, with power to delete the comment?

Akismet deletes spam comments from my blog all the time that don't have any links in the body.

You might be interested to know that the "no follow" tag does not seem to stop relevancy passing to websites linked out from comments (for whatever reason). You might want to check out this recent post I've just made...

    http://www.commentsniper.com/news/archives/11

...which shows a case study of someone using nothing but blog comment posting to generate massive increases in search engine rankings in Google for a hugely competitive keyword term. This technique works as well as it ever did, perhaps even better now that anit-spam protection features have shut out the abusers and ensured only people adding legitimate comments with real value can take advantage of the benefits of this technique.

    Best...
