Blog comments, pointing to articles?

I was wondering rather than commenting on dofollow blogs (Non related to my website) and pointing the link to my website. Would it be more beneficial if i was to point the comments on the blogs to articles. For example ezinearticles. Then point the articles (Related articles) to my website!

Would this make the articles more powerful, serp wise?

It would make the article more powerful, but it would take a lot of links to make much of a difference. I think it would be more effective to point the link to your homepage or another page on your site. That way the link juice goes to your own page and gets spread out among all the links on your page, instead of a bunch going to the links on the ezinearticles page.

I say pointing to your webiste is much better for link building. Also some blog owners may think pointing to the articles might be just spamming and they may delete your comment and links.

You should point the link to your website, you should link to the home
page as well as deep links to the sub pages.

Well, I still believe that links in blog commenting is more powerful if it's related to your site whether it's dofollow or nofollow.

In my opinion it would be spending to much time to gain very little or nothing.

You will be making backlinks for other sites rather than yours, so I think you should include your link in comments and try to improve your site's SERPs.

I find ezine articles pointing to your blog a better choice, but the gains are little for the amount of time invested.
