Blog comments doesnt index on google?

    Do the blog comments appear on google ? i have checked several blog bosts who use a backlink to there site doesnt apper in google may be google is not accepting backlinks from blog comment.

    There is no doubt blog comments backlinks appear in search results and also shows as backlinks, but their value is nothing regarding rank counting.

    blogs are adding nofollow to prevent the comment spam because of this google will not count backlinks from blog comments

    Blog comments are indexed by search engines. However, the backlinks in them may not be used for ranking in some search engines like Google (for most blogs with nofollow).

    From my own experience, blog comments are shown in Webmaster Tools though where they add juice to sites - still a mystery.

    i was talking about a blog which is ranked around pr6 still has follows and it doesnt help the website to get ranked ?
