blog commenting to build links-MAJOR time consumer

i want to be sure there is not easier way to do this. i am going to a dofollow blog, checking page rank, registering or logging on (2 minutes) reading a relevant article (5-10 minutes), commenting on that article (2-5min). moving on to the next one.

Is this the way to get links via blogs commenting? there is not an automated link building tool?

finding the dofollow blogs took me the entire day but i have about 30 so far. many blogs say you must be logged in to comment but when going to log in the link is broken on almost all of them.

thats the best way to do blog commenting. most people just make "good post, thanks" kinda posts which dont get approved all the time. i myself never approve such comments. if you can spend that much time on blog commenting and make relevant comments on related blogs, you sure will get some good value out of it.

one pis od advise, just dont stick with blog commenting and diversify your link building campaign utilizing several link building mehtods. this will not only make your link building campaign look natural, you will be safe as well in case one specific method stops working sometimes in the future

It's not advisable to use automated software and also posting article on blog is much helpful than blog commenting.

Try also to pick blogs that share a similar topic to your main site.

I used to do that. Now I dont really bother to check all blogs to see whether it's a dofollow or nofollow. I have bookmarked a few dofollow blogs, the rest i get from followlist.com. Those that I use blogsearch.google to find posts with similar keywords, I dont check to see whether dofollow or not.
It's not natural to have all links from dofollow blogs anyway.
You may like to add my two blogs to your list. Both are dofollow. I have deleted the nofollow tag from html.

There are a million 'automated blog commenting tools' out there. They are called 'SPAM GENERATORS', and it's the type of thing that quality website owners have been fighting since the inception of the internet and spam.

Use them, and your'e website is sure to be added to one or more of the many SPAM databases, such as akimet. Once added, you won't be able to comment on blogs that use that type of spam protection.

I would be interested to know as I have never used blog commenting as a link building method. Do many people accept quality comments when a backlink has been dropped

Most quality blogs provide a space for you to enter your keywords and baclinks. it's generally accepted that if you leave a high quality comment, they should give you a backlink in return.

You should always consume time commenting on blogs if you are really serious. Understand that 50 high quality backlinks are always more worthily than poor and spammy 1000 backlinks. Write quality comment on pages where no spam posts have been posted before and try to find moderated blogs.
    Best of Luck !

you need to find a more efficient method.

dont spam but find better ways to search for blogs and devise a better method to comment on them as well.

Check out Disqus. It gives you a list of where all other users have left comments...makes it easier to find other blogs to comment on.

I would suggest moving away from blog comments as soon as possible though, I don't think they are a great use of our time as so far as building links!

In addition make sure to add NoFollow links otherwise it won't look like real links
