Sure have and if you get lists yourself (self scraped) you can have alot higher do-follow percentage. Even free one's available have a higher rate than 1%. If your looking to buy decent lists or want a scrapebox service give me a shout, I have millions of do-follow.
Yeah sure sooner or later I'll get to you when I point out my SEO strategy. Gotta go at a slow pace, millions of links a day gonna send me back home lol xD
Blogs sure seem to get traffic easy. I just started Social Spat and its getting to be one of my busier sites. Probably because you can post a link. A lot of Russians lately. Lots of spammers with 3 word posts. I had to ban 6 posters already because of adult links. I now understand why so many forums do not allow signature links. I will allow the short comments for awhile, but I will probably have to make changes.
Exactly! Such kind of websites are great if you got human checks on them. Once you start getting spammed, you would be black-listed by Google very soon but your right, such websites do have high traffic.
Blog commenting I think is fine if your product or service is related to the topic and users can gain something by clicking your site. Otherwise, its spam.
Even humans can do spam, there was a website called feedlisting.com Google banned it after it had many many crappy links from some or same websites, but when it was running it owned everything up.
I will spend more time developing the site. I do not like blocking email and ip address but the spammers give me no choice. Its in plain English that adult sites are not allowed. Having different types of feeds on the site helps a lot I think. And the ability to back link articles is great. Have to get working on my WordPress blog also. They have some great new themes.
If you have any type of feed (e.g. RSS or XML used in blogging) on your site at all, consider submitting to CommentLuv-enabled blogs. The CommentLuv plugin on that blog will return your last post - or any of your last 10 posts if you register at comluv.com - from that feed. (It sort of works like the "Recent Blog" feature here, next to your avatar.)
Blog commenting is useful in SEO as long as the comment is posted because there lots of the blog that don't allow comments.
BeerJacket, I saw your post and was interested, can you give me some pointers on these blogs that allow DO FOLLOW comments? Carlos
Finding blogs which allow dofollow links is time consuming, but register on them and have the latest posts in your feed and you will have a resource that keep growing for your chosen niche. Pretty soon you will have amassed several hundred dofollow blogs related to your niche - it is even a update feature on blogger blogs to have the most current post showing on your blog as a widget. That way, when the dofollow blog does a new post, you will be amongst the first to know and can post a reply first - also good for link juice. Just my two bob's worth...
Its very easy to get do-follow as well as no-follow blogs. But most of the blogs are no-follow, so dont hesitste to comment there, it helps to get traffic.
