    Hi guys,

I using blog commenting to help boost my site in SERP's.

I always put my keyword in the name field then my email then my URL.

Then I post my comment with a link also to my site.

Do I need to post a link in the comment body as well? Normally this gets my comments deleted, but I was wondering do backlinks from the name sections of blog commenting help SERP's or is it links just in the comment body that count?

    Please answer the question!

    Many Thanks :D

Don't post a link in the comment body, it will completely kill your acceptance rate on manual reviews.

yes. in some blogs with wordpress askimet plugin for example, if you comment with a link in the body your comment will be sent for spam automatically.

Make sure that the blog comments are dofollow. If they are nofollow, most of your work is for dem birds.

As long as you can squeeze a keyword into your name with out it looking spammy then it should be good enough.

Posting a link in the website field as well as in the body just looks like complete spam - and it isn't neccessary. Keeping the anchor text in the name box and the website in the website box should be plenty!

Google only count the first link anyway so linking twice doesnt do any further good.

unless you're deeplinking which will almost certainly get you deleted

For me putting your keyword as your name and at the
same time putting your url in the comment box is not a good
idea.. you can put your link on the url box the webmaster
provided, if you want your comments to be approved by
them make sure that your post is helpful.. if the blog is dofollow
you can get backlinks from it.. and you can get backlinks not
in the comments you have but on the links you put on the
url box. *that is what I know :p*

Do-Follow blogs are really effective and they will boost up your ranking. But also commenting have negative impact because after your comment hide you can loose your position.

if you have blog for the site that you were optimizing and has related blog post with keywords on content linking to your site, the keywords that you use as anchor text will help your site improved rankings. It also give traffic to your site.

Blog Commenting – when I do blog commenting I make sure that the blog is related to my site.

If you will place a link on the body of your comment, blog authors will normally delete it. They will just think that you will spam their site just to get some link juice. Anyway, the secret of blog commenting is in the matter of finding valuable blogs to your site.

If you post your link in comment body , that will be deleted by moderator. Back link to your name is pretty enough to get back link. it is effective on your SERP.

If you are using blog commenting as a way to build up links, ensure that the links are HTML not Javascript. A lot of blogs have simple comments, Disqus or IntenseDebate commenting column which give you Javascript links. As for whether you need to put up your anchor text in name, install Nodofollow plugin on Mozilla and you can easily find out which part of the comment is do-follow. Some blogs make the "name" do-follow which some put up a no-follow tag on "name" part and make all links in the comment section "do-follow". Be careful not to spam as that would eventually hurt your site more in the long run.

Dont post your link directly on the body of the comment. Just put it on website cell.
