Blog Comment - is not an effective link building strategy.

Hello my dear SEO worker. I have been thinking about this matter for so long and at the end I thought I might share with you about it. I know that Blog Comment helps to get good traffic but it is not effective if you thought you want to take your site at google first page and the truth is maximum time site moderator delete your comment as spam and your comment is use as the reference of your website. So when the website moderator delete your comment as spam it's mean your site is also a spam site. Google never put those sites to first page who are spammy site. So be careful about it.

blog commenting is more on generating targeted traffic, the effective on SEO is not that good. Anyway, if you are making quality comment, nothing to worry, just continue

 

The question is not about the quality. The question here is why not? Just continue doing it, you get some exposure and traffic as well.

 

its not as effective as it used to be but it still works. you just need to outsmart google and all its updates

 

Blog commenting is still the best option for SEO. It helps in branding. But dont spam comments. Write good ones and try to question the author, which helps in starting a discussion and other people will join. All of these commentors will visit the website.

I think link building depends on the PR of the Domain
Because if too many link building in low PR (0,N/A) google will read it as SPAM and deindex your site

 

Blog commenting is good practice if you do naturally & relevant topic with good comments instead of spamming .

 

Blog commenting is like time consuming... of course you can expect traffic from their but then again its like increasing chances of getting bann as many wanted to consider our comment for moderation

It may be worth to try it on popular blogs, but I also think, that it's not worth it to spend time on blogs with low visitor count.

Blog commenting is used to increase the traffic. Its a very time consuming task. It will take much time for approval.

 

I'm not a fan of blog commenting either, especially since a lot of blogs have it so your comments must be approved first. Forum posting works much better, and I only do blog commenting if my niche doesn't have very many forums that allow signature links.

 

I post Blog Comments and sometimes on Popular articles I blog comment, and draw in upwards of 400 visitors off one link. Irregardless of whether it is bad for SEO it still did fine. I look at it like this. Always post links that offer quality and engage the visitor, when you include links.

 

instead of spamming blog sites with unnecessary comments that has no relation to the blog in order to try and gain a link, which will be deleted anyway as soon as the moderator or owner gets to it.

You would be better off, asking the blog site if you can write an article, in return for a link with your article. The best way is also to pay for it since it costs money for maintaining the site, in that way you ensure that the link will remain and not get deleted as a spam.

I have the same opinion, if you your comment doesnt look like spam then there's no reason to get worry..

 

In terms of direct SEO, blog commenting is probably useless. Google strive to count a link to a site as a vote of quality. However it does not matter as to the quality of the site whether the link with the comment is published. Therefore Google cannot interpret this as a quality score, so they will probably not do. However with some thoughtful comments, you can gain some direct traffic with blog commenting.
