If anyone has seen any success from squidoo, I'd love to hear about it. I saw no benefit or purpose from this site. I just don't understand what the point is. Any thoughts?
I don't quite like using Squidoo but they are be very effective if you are trying to rank for longtails or when you want to use it to send traffic to your blog/website. Seth Godin (Squidoo Owner) recently wrote about how small businesses or non-tech individuals can effectively use Squidoo to make money online.
I don't know if I have the desire to learn yet another social networking platform. Geez, when is this going to level out?
I've been using squidoo and with good results. I do have squidoo lenses for my blogs but squidoo is best use if you want to rank high on a certain long tail keyword. What you do is create a lens on that keyword and add content. How you can use it on your blog is to research 100 long tail keywords related to your blog and create lenses on each of those keywords. You then plug the feed of your blog in the squidoo lenses and you are done. Now you have 100 lenses that will rank higher on search engines pointing back to your blog. Sooner or later you will see a stream of traffic coming your way.
