I have a word press blog that I have installed on my domain, however if you search on google, the posts don't show up unless you go to search blogs, then they do? The posts I have written have keywords in the title and I want to get these indexed on Google, on the blog search and the normal search. So when anyone searches google (dot) com the searches posts come up. Any ideas?
How long ago did you add your Wordpress to yoru main site? Just treat the posts as normal pages, and do your normal SEO Work on them. There's nothing special for them to get index, as long as people link to it and you've done your part - it'll appear on Google when it's ready
September blog added, so I link build to it? I tried adding the XML sitemap plugin and I have done it but I cant seem to set it up...
Submit your blog seperately to other web directories as well as blog directories. Add unique contents there time to time. DON.
You really shouldn't have to do anything. I assume you have a link from your home page to your blog. In that case, Google will eventually index everything. You can check the Google webmaster tools to see when its robot has come last and which pages it visited. Typically, once you have added your blog, it will take one visit for Google to realize that there are new pages, and those new pages will be indexed on the next visit. If Google only visits your site once a week or less, you can imagine that it will take a while for your page to show up in searches.
