Do not buy articles, they are probably all over the internet already and it would be considered duplicate content. Which is not only against the google webmaster quaility policies but many ad network policies.

As the others have said, avoid this place like plague. You don't want to buy duplicate content, especially since Google cracks down so hard on it.

Think of it this way. It's like buying the answers to a test before the exam while the teacher is watching you. Do you really want to get caught and lose your hard earned money in the process?

All these replies and no one has actually answered the guys question.

Here is the answer for you - (I am assuming that you are not talking about a duplicate article here.) It would depend upon how well the blog is spidered by Google. If your post stays on the home page long enough for Google to index it then yes this will be beneficial for you.

KS, i think u hit on the nail here.

usually when you buy a blog article, it is put on the home page. as more and more contents get added to the blog, older articles get archived and end up moving to the category pages. it now all depends on the blog how often fresh contents are added and how often the spider visits the blog. if you have an unique article posted on the blog and if it gets indexed by the SE, then you do get benefit fo a backlink and posibly some PR

also, some blogs are setup in a way where each article has permalink meaning each blog article has its own url. so from the day the article is added, not only the home page gets indexed, over time the permalink gets crawled as well.

one thing to keep in mind tho, if you buy blog article, don;t buy from a network selling 2700 links on 900 blogs, buy from individual blogs and always submit unique content. it will cost you more but you will be better of in the long run

The thing is though, how many other people are buying the exact same blog article? Probably quite a few. Which means that there's a lot of copies of the exact same content being pushed about online, and search engines-specifically Google, do not like that, and will de-value all the copies that they find, making them worthless.

I've had my content scraped by others before (I don't sell content) and I can tell you that each and every single time, the original (my work) was recognized as being original works while the duplicates (the scraped content) were not.

permalink means "permanent link path" as in a single URL that doesn't change over time

Basically. A permanent link is just that - it won't change. Dynamic links on the other hand often contain session IDs, which obviously change with each page view.

You should not buy blog articles, these are mostly duplicate. You should try to put a bid for new blog articles at scriptlance.com or rentacoder.com

Or better yet, save your money and write it yourself. You don't need to be a professional Web copywriter, but having some writing ability is desired, especially if you're going to be writing on the Web.

One resource I can wholeheartedly recommend is "Web Copy That Sells" by Maria Veloso. It should be available at your local public library (just check it out for a few weeks, then renew it if they let you).
