Blog archieves help google crawl better

    Currently I have a blog. But took the archieve part out. Which is better, including the archieve or not, in terms of robot crawling it and including it the serach index.

    Depends on what you mean ...

    I always emply individual entry, category, chronological archives and a master table of contents archive. Sometimes they get hits, sometime they don't. The overhead of having them is trivial.

    Having a category called "About" with a page called "About" that makes it clear what you are focusing on is probably equally if not more important.

    Leave it, but I wouldn't call it archives. Rather, change that to something more meaningful and related to the content of your website.
