First post on here so hi all :D

I am in the process of developing a simple blog app and wanted to know if the following URL structure would be ok for being indexed. I don't have the ability to rewrite URL's so I was hoping to use the format below and just parse the querystring...

    Wordpress structure:
    somedomain.com/2008/08/02/some-article-title-about-something/

    My proposed structure:
    somedomain.com/?/2008/08/02/some-article-title-about-something/

The only real difference between the 2 URL's is the addition of the question mark, however, I don't know if this will have a big impact on seo?

Thanks in advance for any help, it would be appreciated :D

    Hi Guys,

    Thanks for the help.

@Aryans: I appreciate the wordpress url isn't actually static as it is rewritten, but to a search engine it is a static url as far as I am aware. That is the point in rewriting them.

@priyakochin: Thanks for the category tip. The URL I provided was more for illustration... I really just wanted to know if both URLs would be indexed equally or would there be a big difference due to the "question mark"??

Thanks again for the help :)
