Nicely done blending the ads with your site. I like it. You should think putting a image ad on your left navigation area.
I am thinking no way... First off any blog with this on their site... http://www.siteseo.org/payperclick/adsense-up-up-and-away.html Follow your own advice. How is a border around your adsense blending? Ditch the borders and get your ads on the left side of the screen. Add link units in your categories or whatever navigation get the highest clicks, check out your heatmap. Don't have a heat map get one. Get a logo for your header and put a link unit near the top instead of a standard banner size.
Yes, google heat map is a start. But then again, you will have do do a lot of trial and error stuffs inorder to find out what really works as for your ads placement. But all the stuffs above will have to depend on your site traffic of course. Other than that, I think you have a clean and neat site which will have higher chances of getting a higher CTR. Good luck!
Thanks for the list of advice. What is a heat map? All the rest I will get on with. Thanks I need to get more site traffic. Any ideas?
Thanks for the comments There must be a reason why I've had no clicks from 250 impressions today (Traffic is normally low on weekends ) though.
Well, It might be the ads don't attrack people. May be they are not what a user would want. Is Adsense currently showing ads that are related to your site. I have seen that people some times see ads that are not even what there content is about.
Well on the homepage, SEO ads are shown. On the Autosurf post, "Improve-Your-Traffic" ads are shown. On the Adsense post, Adsense and Adwords ads are shown. With the META Tags post, SEO ads are shown. I'd say they are highly related.
Becuse it's a brand new site, that's why It'll get there, it's a nice design, even if it isn't the most original
Thanks Well I had my first click today (The first click in 500+ impressions). Don't know whether thats good or bad
