    Actually there's nothing wrong with your ads placement. It's just that the color that you use doesn't look blend in.

    agree with lycos, better change the red to another color to make your blog look more natural

    I like your ad placement for the ads you have.

    I would also add one or two link units. Under the header and the top of the sidebar would be good link unit locations.
